Default Cryptic Clue to New profession for CH4?

I noticed an anomily with one of the things that Niwah, the boy running around Kamadan 'wants' as a present. All the other items he wants make reference to current in-game items, with the exception of the following:

"And I also want a Junior Alchemists Fire Oil brewing kit! I won't blow anything up, I promise!"

A clue to a future profession perhaps?

Umm no. It's just a silly thing little kids say.

"I want a chemist's set to blow things up!"

Fire Oil is used in the tutorial during the first mission to blow up ships, if I remember correctly.

that just reminds of the penguin in those batman shows I watched when I was a little kid....Dosent anyone remember the fat dude with the killer umbrella? :P Would be awesome...but im betting its going to be some sort of ranged high damage class, and probably a "alternitive to the necro" like the rit was supposed to be to the monk.

Alchemist sounds like a possible Guild Wars profession, sure why not.

I think it was the 50's-70's that little kids wanted chemisty sets for christmas. They were pretty notorious for going *bang* and making bad smells..

Is that the same boy who says random things...one of which is he likes to set things on fire? During the NF preview event there was a boy who said creepy things about fire. I forget his name.
If it is that boy....don't give him any presents! He is pure evil.

I believe Alchemist may be a C4 profession. There have not been a lot of potions in the game so far. And I believe it may be possible to see a Support profession called Alchemist with Defensive Potions and Offensive Potions. Throw 'em at the opponent, like Ragnarok Online's Alchemist.

Just something to dream, as we aren't getting C4 confirmated info until next year.

It will be both! I saw a cartoon once about a boy who was an alchemist. He had a metal body. So it must be that!

if they make a class like that...im betting its going to be like the paragon, ie; they do stuff like "coat all nearby party members in a toxic solution. On their next hit, they cause poison for 10-20 seconds", or something like that, but they will probably end up with some weapon that you wouldnt expect, I mean, after all, a class whos intended main role in a party was to make shouts, I would have expected them to have a megaphone or something

Well, believe it or not, Nightfall has been out for 2 months now, so in 2 more months we should be getting some info about chapter 4.

It makes sense they would give clues about professions in Wintersday, Gaile said Ch4 will be announced soon.

So either the devs are just fooling us...or this is a major find....

I wouldn't say it was cryptic...but it could be a clue.

And in regards to the cartoon with the kid in the armor. The show is called Full Metal Alchemist ... It plays on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim sometimes. And the boy in the armor didn't do much alchemy it was mostly his brother.

In the cartoon they used alchemic symbols to produce the effect they wanted. So his weapon would have to be a big pencil, or crayon...good way to raise some money - product placement - contact Crayola.
